By submitting an application form the student certifies that he/she has read, understood and complies with all Maastricht Summer School regulations.
Registration closes on June 1, 2020. This deadline may be deviated from if there are still places available.
Placement and admission
Maastricht Summer School reserves the right to assess the student’s entry level in order to determine eligibility and admission.
In the event that a course is oversubscribed, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The number of ECTS credits earned after successfully concluding a one-, two- or three-week course is the equivalent of two, four or six credits respectively according to Maastricht University’s guidelines. Please consult with your home university if these credits will be accepted as part of your programme and, if necessary, converted to the credit system acknowledged by your home university.
If you have any questions about the ECTS credit calculations, you can reach out to our Education Office directly via email@example.com.
Cancellation by Maastricht Summer School
Maastricht Summer School reserves the right to cancel a course. Students will be informed within one week after June 1, 2020 about the status of the course.
Should a course be cancelled, the tuition fee will be refunded in full.

Maastricht Summer School (MSS) incurs costs for each student we register. MSS therefore applies the following cancellation regulations:
a. If a student withdraws eight weeks or more before the start of the programme, no costs will be charged and a refund will be made in full;
b. If a student withdraws between eight and four weeks before the start/ arrival day of the programme, MSS will charge 50% of the tuition fee;
c. If a student withdraws between four weeks and the start of the programme, MSS will charge 100% of the tuition fee.
Exceptions to the abovementioned cancellation regulations will be reviewed by MSS on a case-by-case basis.
Should circumstances arise for which the existing terms and conditions do not provide, Maastricht Summer School aims to resolve the matter amicably. If an amicable settlement cannot be reached, the matter will be brought before the Maastricht Court, in accordance to Dutch Law.
